5 Minute Life Coach - A Hope Filled Future
May 11, 2009
Dear,

Did you take stock, and review the year so far? What do you need to adjust to get back on target?

I strongly encourage you to stop putting things off and pursue the goals and dreams that God has given you. We are only half way through May, there is still plenty of 2009 left, it's not too late to take action.

A Hope Filled Future

"Even though you may want to move forward in your life, you may have one foot on the brakes. In order to be free, we must learn how to let go. Release the hurt. Release the fear. Refuse to entertain your old pain. The energy it takes to hang onto the past is holding you back from a new life. What is it you would let go of today?" - Mary Manin Morrissey

My next free teleseminar is for all Christians who are going through divorce, are affected by divorce or know someone who is suffering the pain of divorce.

You can register here

Please Note

If you are not divorced but know someone going through divorce, Christian life coach Shelley Grieser will also be sharing what you can do to get alongside and support someone going through the pain of divorce.

Hope Filled Scriptures

God doesn't want you to put your hope in people and circumstances, He wants you to put your hope in Him. It delights His heart when you demonstrate your trust by putting your hope in Him.

Hope in God isn't based around circumstances, its foundation lies in faith in God and His promises.

As you read these hope filled verses, remember that they are God's word to you. Allow them to feed your spirit, encourage your heart and transform you life.

"the LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love" (Ps 147:11)

"Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God" (Ps 146:5)

"those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint" (Ps 40:31)

"Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him" (Ps 62:5)

"No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame, but they will be put to shame who are treacherous without excuse" (Ps 25:3)

"Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God (Ps 42:5)

"I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope" (Ps 130:5)

"put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption" (PS 130:7)

"There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off" (Prov 23:18)

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jer 29:11)

"And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us" (Rom 5:5)

"in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently" (Rom 8:24-25).

"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer" (Rom 12:12)

"For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope" (Rom 15:4)

"Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged" (Heb 6:17-18)

"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful" (Heb 10:23)

"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see" (Heb 11:1)

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit" (Rom 15:13)

May God bless you with a hope filled heart.

Something to Ponder

If we don't act on a good idea within 24 hours, we are less than 50% likely to ever act on it. If we haven't acted on it inside of days, then we are less than 2% likely to ever act on it. - Bill Gates
