Every now and then I review what I'm doing and ask the Lord to help me to order my priorities and realign my life to reflect what's most important NOW.

When you set priorities in partnership with God, it's so much easier to make decisions. The last 2 weeks have been my most productive weeks for a VERY long time!

Over 1200 people watched the free training I did last Thursday. We had amazing heartwarming feedback, come and listen in and find out why people were so moved by A Road Less Travelled and why people took pages of notes.

If you sometimes wonder why so many Christians seem just as unhappy and unfulfilled as some people who don't have a relationship with God, take a few minutes to read today's coaching moment and discover the missing key.

If God doesn't have favourites, if He loves everyone the same, why do some Christians seem to be more blessed than others?

Why are so many Christians in debt, divorced, depressed, unfulfilled, and thinking, "There must be more to life than this!"

Could one of the reasons be that some people find it easier to believe that God really does love them than other people do? And that when we live life KNOWING that we're loved and accepted it affects EVERYTHING?

When it comes to God's love, you can't do anything to earn it; you simply need to believe that God loves YOU and be open to receiving His love.

God loves you because He loves you, because He loves you... and He loves you freely, there are no strings attached.

God IS love and He loves us even when we're not well behaved. We know that in our minds, but it sometimes takes a while for us to believe it in our heart and so we don’t live as though it's true.

Taking God at His word, and choosing to BELIEVE Him when He says He loves you is the FIRST step.

The reality of God's love surrounds us and is revealed in Scripture.

You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you. Psalm 86:5

Lord, you are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. Psalm 86:15

The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by His love; He will exult over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17

He is a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love. Nehemiah 9:17

God loves us with an EVERLASTING love. His steadfast love endures forever. Psalm 136:26

God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

And Jesus says, "As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. John 15:9

Abide in my love... ask God to show you what abiding in His love looks like for you.

The reason some Christians have a great quality of life and others don't, seems to be down to WHAT they believe and whether or not they mix faith with action.

The people who seem to be blessed more than others, the Christians who are fulfilled, KNOW that God loves them.

They tend to be clear about what they believe, and they're always stepping out and doing practical things that demonstrate their faith.

They invite people to their home, give to people in need, take time to listen to people, and help connect people to solutions. They seem to be always giving out to others and yet have their own needs met and more.

Jesus said, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." Matthew 7:7

Notice that the words ask, seek, and knock are active, practical steps, they direct us to DO something. Jesus didn't say, "Believe and the door will be opened." Or, "Wait for God to open the door."

Sometimes the Lord does want us to wait, but often He's WAITING FOR US to step out in faith.

Receiving all that God has for you involves taking faith filled steps and being proactive as you actively wait.

Believing, then doing something practical in response, actually putting your belief into action, is the missing key.

Many Christians believe what God says but they don't actually do much about it, or take the steps necessary to make it a part of their life.

When you CONSISTENTLY apply God's word to your life and line up the way you live your every day life with what God says in His word, your life will be transformed.

It takes effort to discover and fulfil your destiny and become who you are in Christ through God's strength and power and enabling.

And it all begins with BELIEVING and RECEIVING all that God has for you.

So many people believe that if you have faith God will take care of the rest. That's a true statement; but many people wait and expect God to do things for them when He's waiting for them to act in faith.

If you pray and wait, and wait, and wait but your situation doesn't change, it could be that the Lord is waiting for you to take proactive steps and partner with Him.

In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps. Proverbs 16:9

When you STEP OUT in faith and TAKE ACTION God guides you through.

What do you need to DO today to mix faith with action?

Concerned about getting it wrong? God is more than capable of guiding you through any mistakes you might make.

You hear God more than you think you do... When you ask God to direct your steps believe that He will and expect Him to.
