A good plan will identify exactly WHAT ... means to YOU and outline a series of specific actions you need to take to get there. MOST people don't have a real plan. Instead, they have an idea of what they want. But they rarely have a set of strategic steps designed to lead them to where they want to go. God has spoken through dreams all through the ages and He's still speaking through dreams.

Why doesn't He just say things clearly?
Why does He speak in dreams?

God uses dreams to communicate things to you that you're unlikely to notice when you're preoccupied.

When God can't get your attention during the day He speaks to you while you're asleep. When you're sleeping your defences are down and it's easier to by pass your busyness, resistance and scepticism. Sleep may be the only time you're still enough for God to speak to you.

Dreams are powerful. They reach you in a way that no other form of communication can.

I know some of you are really struggling with hearing God. I think you're overcomplicating it, it's much easier than you think. Communicating with God is as easy as listening to your heart or seeing a traffic signal, or taking note of an unusual event or seeming conicidences. As a Christian Life Coach one of my favourite things is to help people learn to hear God for themselves. When you can hear God for yourself your relationship with God deepens, you can ask Him for direction in the moment and be confident that you will hear His reply. Hearing God makes life an adventure. When I woke up yesterday, I had the strains of this song by Andy Park running through my head. In the secret, in the quiet place In the stillness You are there In the secret, in the quiet hour I wait only for You 'Cause I want to know You more I want to know You I want to hear Your voice I want to know You more I want to touch You I want to see Your face I want to know You more I am reaching for the highest goal That I might receive the prize Pressing onward, pushing every hindrance aside Out of my way 'Cause I want to know You more The song continued to resound in my head as I got ready for the day and took my 8 year old to school. I realised that God was trying to get my attention and decided to delay the work I had planned and take some time to meet with God. Things jostled for my attention, but finally, at 10.30, I sat down and began to focus on God. It took a while to settle and I realised that it had been a while since I gave Him my focused attention. I stilled myself, asked what He wanted to say to me and waited for His response. As I cupped a large cup of tea with my hands and drank deeply, I sensed the Lord saying to me, "Come and sit with me let me create an oasis in the desert. Drink deeply of my presence. Ive missed you. Im glad you heard me calling today. Nothing is more important than spending time with me..." I encourage you to set some time aside to spend with God and see what He will say to you.

It attaches itself to you, often without your awareness, and before you know it, you're wallowing under its weight, stumbling around as the life is sucked out of you. It is not a feeling that comes from God, but if you aren't careful, the enemy can convince you otherwise. Prophetic people can be easily led astray by their emotions, because we have been trained to be sensitive to them. Obviously, this sensitivity isn't a bad thing, but we need to be very, very careful that we accept that which comes from God - and nothing more. Simple. God has a reason for your being here; you have a call on your life, a purpose for your existence. Knowing the details of this world, as well as your details and who you would be, God made you to do specific things in a specific time. This means that you are very important. This means that should you fail, He is very interested, to say the least, in getting you back on the right path again.
